Lost and Found Origin Pinot Gris - Central Otago 2018

You probably won’t be able to find the vineyard for our Pinot Gris. It’s in the hottest, driest and sometimes coldest patch of New Zealand, a meeting of extremes. These vines take root on an ancient lakebed, flanked by tall ranges, and with views of the Clutha River – this is Pinot country.

“The wine appears light and bright in the glass. There are hints of pear and nectarine with a mandarin skin scent slowly revealing itself. On the palate there is a creaminess mouthfeel while subtle honeysuckle flavours tease you with a suggestion of sweetness. The wine finishes with a ginger-like warmth and spice.”
